Steven Suter

At an early age I became involved in imagery and the many facets of its construction. From Europe to Canada and settling on the East coast in Nova Scotia, the Arts were and always will be my life. From the mid 80’s on Photography has been in the forefront in one form or another. From schooling in Photography and the Arts to eventually teaching classes in the fundamentals of Darkroom Technology I have always strived to understand and show the textures of life around me and the people in it.

Current projects underway are focused on people, the aesthetic form and mood, while also tapping in to the darkness that I love so much. No longer fighting the monsters of the dark ID but making my home there and befriending those neighbors. Hoping this will also aid in my growth as a individual and be a catalyst for those that work with me to tackle their own stories with another layer of understanding.
